Artists, crafters and makers of ALL AGES are invited to our weekly Open Studio crafting afternoon! Join us every Thursday, 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm in the basement at the Madison Plaza in downtown Corvallis.
Bring your favorite art materials, your project to work on, or just bring your sense of curiosity and we’ll provide the materials. Each week we’ll have some special materials to use up, check out the calendar below!
Plus, free snacks and drinks for all!

- Sticker and pin back button making
- Pinata making
- Bookmaking
- Painting, drawing
- Collage, junk journaling
- Air dry clay
- Paper pulp

- Fiber arts: felting, sewing, knitting, crochet
This event is completely free and open to everyone of all ages. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Common Questions:
- How do I get to the studio?
- The studio is located in the basement level of the Madison Plaza at 425 SW Madison Ave.
- Entrance to the basement is through the main doors on Madison Ave (between Everbowl and Coffee Culture). Then take the stairs or the wheel chair lift to the basement.
- UGACS is located just east of the stairs.
- What if I don’t have a project to bring?
- No worries! We have lots of materials you can use, as well as some need-to-do projects you could help with!
- What are we going to be doing?
- We’ll hang out, have snacks and drink, chat and share our projects. Stay as long as you want, leave when you’re ready!
- I have a food allergy/ intolerance.
- The food provided by the studio will have detailed lists of ingredients. We’ll ask all folks who bring foods to fill out an ingredient allergen form as well. Please be careful with your consumption. You are welcome to bring food just for you or to share!
- Can I bring alcohol or other other intoxicating substances?
- No, thank you! We are not permitted to serve or supervise alcohol or drug consumption. Please do not bring any intoxicating substances, even for your own personal use.
