Drop in/Drop Off

Studio Sessions for kids 8 – 13 years old
Come into the studio for creativity at your pace!
Come in and create something cool! In Drop In or Drop Off studio, students have the option to work at their own pace. All students will receive focused instruction and support, plus access to special materials and snacks!
Space and supplies are limited, pre-registration (below) is suggested if you want to save your spot.
Registration options:
- Drop-in, $25 per student: Parents or guardians stay with students, only available at the door.
- Drop-off, $40 per student per hour (up to 3 hours, $120 for the full session each day): students can be dropped off at the studio, camp-style, pre-registration (below) or register at the door required.
Each day is different!
12:00 – 3:00 pm
- Tuesday, March 24: Digital Art – get practice with digital drawing! Create illustrations, designs for stickers, buttons or more!
- Wednesday, March 25: Comics – create your own comic stories and characters, make zines to print and share and learn to use both digital and traditional media.
- Friday, March 27: Air Dry Clay – use air dry clay to make little critters and handy trinket trays!

About Our Classes
UGACS camps and classes are designed to engage students in creative challenges that inspire wonder, curiosity, and resiliency. Students of all abilities and neurodiversity are warmly welcomed! Our camp sizes are intentionally small (up to 6 students) to create attentive and supportive environments for all students. UGACS is located in the lower level of the Madison Plaza, at 425 SW Madison Ave. in the heart of Downtown Corvallis.

Meet your art instructor

Jen Hernandez (she/they) is an arts educator with over 20 years of experience teaching camps, workshops and classes for all ages (really, ALL ages: infants to 70 years+!). She has worked with students all over Oregon in private classes, afterschool programs, community events and in-school residencies in partnership with local organizations including The Arts Center, The Corvallis-Benton County Public Library, Jackson Street Youth Services, Lane Arts Council, Emerald Arts Center (Springfield), Salem Arts Association, and Arts for Learning Northwest (Portland).
